RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CEDAR PARK, TEXAS ADOPTING A THREE-YEAR ANNEXATION PLAN; PLACING THE RANCH AT CYPRESS CREEK MUD 1 ON THE THREE-YEAR ANNEXATION PLAN; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.

WHEREAS, the Land qualifies for annexation by the City of Cedar Park pursuant to the City’s Charter and Chapter 43, Texas Local Government Code, and

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Cedar Parks finds that proceeding with annexation of the Land would promote the health, safety, and welfare of the citizens of the City of Cedar Park.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CEDAR PARK, TEXAS:

SECTION 1 . That the City Council of the City of Cedar Park hereby adopts a Three-Year Annexation Plan.

SECTION 2 . That the tracts of land known as The Ranch At Cypress Creek MUD 1 as indicated in Exhibit A (“the land”) are placed on the Three-Year Annexation plan as defined in Chapter 43, Texas Local Government Code, and are therefore subject to annexation by the City of Cedar Park between March 13, 2011 and April 13, 2011.

SECTION 3 . That the adoption of this annexation plan does not prohibit the City of Cedar Park from annexation of properties that are subject to exceptions to an annexation plan as provided in Chapter 43, Texas Local Government Code.

SECTION 4 . That the City Secretary is hereby authorized and directed to cause this annexation plan to be posted on the City’s internet website in accordance with Chapter 43, Section 43.052 of the Texas Local Government Code.

SECTION 5 . That it is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at which this resolution is passed is open to the public and that public notice of the time, place, and purpose of said meeting was given as required by law.
