In 2007, the citizens of Cedar Park voted to approve the remaining funding needed for the construction of a recreation center. A portion of the funding had already been approved as part of a 2001 bond election.
The City sought public input on the center's design and amentities. It was through this public involvement, that the Recreation Center has been designed.
This 47,500 sq. feet state-of-the-art facility will have a double gymnasium with an
elevated walking/jogging track. There will also be a cardio and weight area, three multi-use community rooms,
babysitting area, and much more.
